The Albury Street Rodders Inc was formed on the 13 of September 1972. At that stage there was 4 members. They joined the ASRF (Australian Street Rod Federation) with ten members in January 1973. The club has slowly grown over the years and boasts 41 current members.

The Albury club has been represented at every Australian Street Rod Nationals, the first being at Narrandera. Albury Rodders have also been spotted at various Rod Runs around Australian and overseas. These overseas places include the USA, Canada and New Zealand. Albury was lucky enough to hold the fourth ASRF Nationals at Easter 1979. This attracted many cars and a large boost to the local economy.

The club is now 25 years old and has had over 100 members. The club has also produced some of the finest Street Rods in Australia. The club also has five life members. These people have been continous members for 20 years.
