Fridays in the Square - November 2023
We're thrilled to share the roaring success of Albury Street Rodders at the recent "Fridays in the Square" event hosted by the Wodonga Council at Junction Square Wodonga.
Graciously invited by the Wodonga Council, our anticipation was met with a twist as some of our members, due to unforeseen commitments, were unable to attend despite having secured a spot. However, the true spirit of Albury Street Rodders prevailed, and we are grateful for the members and honorary non-members who helped fill the 14 available slots with their exceptional vehicles.
Junction Square pulsated with the rhythm of rock and roll dancing, delightful food stalls, specialty drinks, and a vibrant display of local businesses supporting the automotive cause. Our members, undeterred by the unforeseen circumstances, became ambassadors of automotive history, passionately sharing stories about their vehicles with one another and engaging curious visitors.
This event transcended a mere automotive showcase; it became a celebration of resilience, camaraderie, and the shared love for finely tuned machines. Our sincere appreciation extends to the Wodonga Council for the invitation and to our members for turning an unexpected twist into a triumph.
